- Cthonian Beserk: For every 5 models in this unit, 1 model that is not equipped with a twin concussion gauntlet or a mole grenade launcher can be equipped with 1 mole grenade launcher. * * Designer’s Note: If a Cthonian Beserk is equipped with a mole grenade launcher, it will be accompanied by an L‑COG unit: both models should be placed on the same base and together they act as a single model for all rules purposes.

Each time a model in this unit is destroyed by a melee attack, if that model has not fought this phase, roll one D6, adding 1 to the result if units from your army have Fortify Takeover: on a 4+, do not remove it from play. The destroyed model can fight after the attacking unit has finished making its attacks, and is then removed from play.
